Tennis Court Update - Rules and Regulation of Play

Quick Start Tennis (Ages 4 & Up)

Quick Start Tennis is designed to help develop skills using smaller-sized rackets, low compression tennis balls, and smaller court sizes. This program develops proper technique and is great for all ages. Students progress at a faster pace through each skill test using proper tennis balls and courts designed for the students' unique abilities and needs.

Private & Semi-Private Tennis Lessons

For private and semi-private lessons, please contact the Lincolnwood Parks and Recreation office at 847-677-9740.

Please note: Private and group lessons are provided by Lincolnwood Parks and Recreation only. For-profit use of the tennis courts by any person or entity other than Lincolnwood Parks and Recreation is not permitted.

Lincolnwood Tennis Club

The Lincolnwood Tennis Club is open to residents ages 18 and over. Members have the opportunity to reserve court time at the Proesel, Flowers, and Central Parks tennis courts by phone days in advance. A Tennis Club member must be on the court during the reserved time.

  • Fee: $60 (annually)

Tennis Court Rentals

Lincolnwood Parks and Recreation has blocked off one court at Proesel Park for residents interested in renting a court for the permanent time of their choice.

  • Rental Fee: $15 per Hour
  • Available: May 1 through October 31
  • Reservation Call-in Hours: 9 am to 3 pm

Tennis Courts

Tennis courts are available in the following parks in Lincolnwood. When courts are not reserved, the rack-up system prevails. Please be courteous and respectful, and dispose of litter properly. The following are not allowed on tennis courts: food, dogs, skateboards, bicycles, scooters, roller skates.
