Village Manager’s Office

The Village Manager, Anne Marie Gaura, is the Chief Administrative Officer of the Village. She is appointed by the Mayor and the Board of Trustees and serves on a full-time basis. The Manager's responsibilities include oversight of the day to day operations of the Village, enforcement of Village Ordinances, recommendation of policy alternatives to the Village Board and preparation of an annual budget for the Village Board's review.

Human Resources and Risk Management

The Human Resources Division of the Village Manager's Office oversees the recruitment of new employees, benefit administration, development and administration of personnel policies and procedures and monitoring compliance with state and federal personnel requirements. Additionally, the Human Resources Division oversees risk management. Research is conducted on proper risk management procedures and insurance compliance matters. Human Resources Division staff work with Village departments on safety issues and practices to limit exposures to liability.

Public Communications and Outreach

The Village Manager’s Office oversees multiple facets of public communication and outreach including cable broadcasting, social media and newsletter communications. The office oversees programming for LWD-TV, which can be accessed on Channel 6 for Comcast, channel 49 for RCN, and channel 99 for U-Verse. LWD-TV can also be accessed online. Official Village of Lincolnwood social media accounts can be found on Facebook, Twitter, and Nextdoor. Residents can click here to sign up for the Lincolnwood Local, a bi-weekly email that summarized news and events occurring within the Village and every two months, the Lincolnwood Connections newsletter is mailed directly to resident’s homes. 

Information Technology

The Village’s Information Technology (IT) functions are provided by Orbis Solutions.  This includes oversight of the Village Computer Information System, including all operations, reporting, performance analysis and planning, security administration, technical support and accessibility, and implements the Village's long-range technology plan.
