Blackboard Connect (Reverse 9-1-1)

Through Blackboard Connect, village leaders send texts and/or voicemails to residents and businesses regarding time-sensitive or common-interest issues, such as emergencies and local community matters. The service is used to supplement our current communication plans and augment public safety/first responder services.  Sign up for this service.  Prior to signing up, it is recommended that users review the Blackboard User Agreement and the Blackboard Privacy Center.

The Village of Lincolnwood is served by several Commissions that are overseen by the Village Board. View the Village Board’s meetings.

Television

The Village provides programming for cable channel LWD-TV which displays public service announcements and meeting videos of the Village Board, Plan Commission, and Zoning Board of Appeals. Select channel 6 for Comcast, channel 49 for RCN, and channel 99 for U-Verse. View using the internet.

Every two months, the Village sends the Lincolnwood Connections, the Village’s Newsletter, to all postal addresses in the 60712 zip code.

Mobile App

The Village’s mobile app provides direct access to news, events, Frequently Asked Questions, places, online payments, and more.  The Village of Lincolnwood app is available in Google Play for Android devices and in the App Store for iPhone.  The app can be found on either phone by searching “Village of Lincolnwood”.
