Stay Connected to the Village of Lincolnwood Through Blackboard Connect
Lincolnwood residents also have the ability to sign up for Emergency Alerts through a system used by the Village of Lincolnwood called Blackboard Connect. Participation is 100% free and completely voluntary. Rest assured that your personal information will not be shared with anyone. This system allows for alerts to be sent via text messaging, email or robo-calling, also known as reverse 911. This alert system is useful for snow emergencies, boil orders, weather alerts, flooding and other emergency situations.
The Lincolnwood Police Department strongly encourages residents and business owners to sign up for text message notifications powered by Blackboard Connect. Through this service, village leaders can send personalized voice messages to residents and businesses within minutes with specific information about time-sensitive or common-interest issues such as emergencies and local community matters. The service is used to supplement our current communication plans and augment public safety/first responder services. Sign-up for this service. Prior to signing up, it is recommended that users review the Blackboard User Agreement and the Blackboard Privacy Center
