Public Transit Options
The Village is currently served by two Pace bus routes that link Lincolnwood to the Chicago area as shown in the map. Information on the routes serviced by Pace in Lincolnwood can be found by clicking on the links here for Route 210, and Route 290. Additionally, the Village is connected to Chicago on the east side of Lincolnwood by the Devon-Kedzie stop which is serviced by CTA. On the west side of Lincolnwood is the Edgebrook Metra Station along the Milwaukee District / North Line near the intersection of Central and Devon Avenues in Chicago.

Pace Ride Share Program
Commuters in Lincolnwood may also be interested in the Pace Ride Share Program. The Ride Share program allows residents to commute to work together in a vanpool program for a low monthly rate. O’Hare Modernization Program
The O’Hare Modernization Program was approved by the Federal Aviation Administration in September 2005. According to the Chicago Department of Aviation, the plan includes replacing the intersecting runways with parallel runways to increase capacity, reduce delays, and meet future demands. The estimated $8 billion projects is the nation’s largest airport construction project. The plan to modernize the airfield at O’Hare International Airport has resulted in changes to the runways affecting the air traffic over and around the Village of Lincolnwood.
